1971 Chevy Corvette, 350/4spd, factory Mille Miglia red on red interior, 70-80 percent original paint, 84,000 original miles, only known option is the factory hardtop, no power steering, brakes, or ac. well maintained, most everything works including the backup lights, headlight doors, wiper door, fiber optics, the clock, radio, and tach are currently not working. I have receipts from the last 7500 miles totaling about $13,000, including new top, new carpet, reproduction seat covers, brand new tires last fall, and much more. The engine block is not original (currently a '70 350 block with correct casting number) but the Muncie is original and numbers matching, correct '71 4 speed carb, alternator, etc. The car is a pleasure to drive. The frame is rock solid. The car is probably nice enough for outdoor car shows with a professional detail. It has lacquer checking in areas, light pitting in some of the chrome, it is mostly unrestored and well preserved.
Current Hagerty book value in good condition is just over $37,000 and has gone up over 20% in the last 3 years. I think this car qualifies in good condition according to their guide. Comes with factory service manuals, owner's manual, hardtop, cart for the hardtop, car cover, appraisal of $32,200 (dated 2014,) and the NCRS report.
The price is $29,500, I still enjoy the car and am in no hurry to sell. I am open to trades for other classic cars. Especially interested in convertibles and station wagons from the 60s/early 70s, open to any make/model but no 2 seaters. Will trade up or down, and projects are welcome. I can work with shipper for out of state buyers. This is very likely the nicest one out there under $30,000.The car is turn key, and yes, you can drive it home. Please note I will not accept PayPal for payment, I will accept PayPal for the deposit only. I also can include a real CRR code LS-6 454 into the deal for an extra $6500.
More photos available, can get any pics or videos needed and have a lift in my garage for inspections.
