Completed in 2011, this example follows that tradition with a Kilbourne fiberglass body and matching Kilbourne chassis built around a Chevrolet 350ci small block V8. Finished in two-tone Metallic Silver over Metallic Blue, the car highlights classic '32 proportions with clean panel alignment, suicide doors, and an open engine bay that showcases its detailed drivetrain. Polished side-exit headers, a painted chassis, and 15" Billet Specialties wheels wrapped in Hoosier Pro Street tires give the coupe a purposeful stance with a wide rear footprint. The GM Performance 350ci crate engine is topped with a 650cfm Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor and dressed with polished components, paired with a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission and a Ford 9" rear axle with 3.50 gears and a limited-slip differential. A rear 4-bar suspension with coilovers works with Wilwood front disc brakes and rear drums for a balanced setup. Inside, a custom tan leather interior features matching door panels, a tilting column with banjo-style steering wheel, Mooneyes column-mounted tach, floor-mounted shifter, power windows, pre-installed Kicker speakers, and modern air conditioning. Accompanying the car are the hood, side panels, shorty headers, and full underbody exhaust system, allowing multiple configuration options. With its combination of iconic styling, proven small block power, and thoughtful build execution, this 1932 Ford 3-Window Coupe represents a well-sorted and highly usable street rod.
