Beautiful 1987 Chevrolet Silverado "Square Body". Current owners late husband has owned this truck for at least the past 23 years and I believe is the 2nd owner. Well optioned truck and highly original with 305 engine, Throttle body fuel injection (first year for this), Air Conditioning, Power Window/Door Locks, Cruise Control, Automatic Overdrive (700R4), Power steering and brakes. 25,900 original miles!! This truck has been repainted at some point I believe when the original owner had it. The paint is not perfect but very presentable with only a few very small nicks, very glossy clear coat, and no peeling anywhere. When viewed at an angle some areas show light DA sanding scratches in the base coat as is seen in a lot of the early Base coat/clear coat paint jobs before high quality sealers were more widely used. It has been garage kept since at least 2002 with less than 2000 miles put on it since that time. This truck is truly one of the nicest originals I've seen or driven. It drives and handles excellent with only a very slight pull to the right at cruising speeds and has no slop in the steering. Brakes work well and are smooth with no pulsating. The dash pad has several cracks in it but is still very solid. The carpet and upholstery are in excellent condition. Has an aftermarket AM/FM cassette deck installed that works as it should (nothing fancy.) It has check engine light with code 42 (Ignition Bypass Circuit Error) which does not seem to negatively affect performance (no miss or hesitation.) Tires have approximately 70% tread left.
