Very clean E24 635csi!
This one has everything you want in an E24:
-Series 2 wrap around euro bumpers
-5 Speed Manual Getrag 265/6 Transmission
-Large case Limited slip differential. 3.07 Ratio
-Slick top, no sunroof!
-Clean title
-117k original miles
Overall all this car is a very nice original example. It is not in show car condition but has been well maintained and loved with minimal modifications. The original M30 is running great, being a euro model it has no emissions so you get all the power out of it. No leaks to note.
-Transmission upshifts and downshifts smooth into every gear, no grinding or slipping. No noise coming from gearbox or differential.
-Chassis is straight, no signs of previous damage or accident. There is light surface rust on some of the pinch seam and driver floor board drain. No other rust has been seen on the chassis. All body panels are straight. There was an alarm system installed in the 90's and they have a indicator light by the driver door handle, an extra lock on the trunk panel. The system is no longer in use.
-Interior is 8/10. Pacific blue original comfort interior. Driver seat has a small seam where stitching is coming undone on top side of seat. Dash has typical E24 cracking. Carpet and door panels are in great condition.
-Cluster is fully working aside from the speedo sometimes goes out but comes back on.
-All windows, radio, OBC are working.
-The paint has fading on hood and trunk lid. Oddly does not have fading on the roof. This is probably the worst condition area on this car. Someone really good at paint correction may be able to bring it back. Or of course could have those 2 area resprayed.
-AC is not currently working, Blower motor and heat work.
-Tires have good tread left! Standard tires, not metric.
Car drives, shifts, handles, and brakes well. Its pretty peppy compared to US spec 635's!
