An absolute great example of the classic 2002 BMW. This car was rescued from my buddies family barn a few years ago. I've been slowly tinkering with it in my spare time as a weekend cruiser. The front seats have new upholstery and the rest of the interior is in really good shape. The motor has a new Ireland Engineering radiator, intake manifold and Webber carb. Motor starts right up and has excellent compression (+110psi) on all 4 cylinders. Needs a new radiator hose kit and throttle linkage connected before it can be driven. New disk brakes and brake hoses along with a new Ireland Engineering gas tank was installed also. Optima red top battery was relocated to the trunk and all new wiring installed up to the front engine bay.Transmission pan was dropped, re-sealed and topped off for inspection purposes. Transmission fluid looked good. shifts into reverse and drive; through all 3 gears without issue.
New Ireland Engineering intake requires an earlier style "pre heat" adapter for the coolant. The original smog intake that was installed on the car is included in the sale for the new owners discretion to continue with the Intake manifold installation or revert back to OEM.
The body has a few bumps and bruises but overall the car is rust free and totally dry.
