Up for sale is a 2 owner 1972 Lincoln Mark IV, I am the second owner.
This
car comes with the original build sheet, window sticker, Ford warranty
card and other information that can be seen in the pictures.
This
is a unrestored original car that has been kept up over the years and
is wearing most of its original paint from what we can tell.
The
interior is original and unrestored and is in really good condition
with the leather still be soft and supple. The car was purchased new in
1972 by a couple as can be seen in the paperwork and was garaged in the same garage from 1972 until 2023 when we acquired it. The car is powered by a 460
with a c6 transmission.
The odometer shows 17k miles but it may have rolled over.
There is a small amount of rust around the back window/ trunk near the vinyl top.
This is a AS-IS sale.
Since acquiring the car there have been some maintenance items done or parts replaced.
here is the list:
*Holley vacuum secondary carburetor
*new upper and lower radiator hoses
*new rotors
*rebuilt front brake calipers
*new brake pads
*new front wheel bearings and seals
*new front brake hoses
*new master cylinder
*rebuilt power brake booster
*new fuel pump
*new spark plugs
*new plug wires
*new cap and rotor
*new transmission filter and pan gasket
*removed and resealed the entire transmission
*resealed the rear axle/new third member gasket.
*new driver side arm rest base to replace the cracked factory one (common issue)
*new fluids through out.
The car is ready to go cruising or anywhere you would like.
The car rides like one would expect, its similar to "driving your living room" as my daughter mentioned.
