Well optioned for a Rambler with power steering, windshield washer cleaning system and an AM radio. This car runs, drives and stops.
Engine Mounts Replaced.
Complete front end rebuild: New tie rods, trunnions, wheel bearings, seals.
Power Steering : New power cylinder seals, hoses and bumpers.
Brakes: Front and rear brakes completely rebuilt with new master cylinder, shoes, brake hardware, wheel cylinders, seals.
Carburetor rebuilt, new mounting gaskets installed.
Fuel Pump rebuilt and new fuel lines installed. Added an inline fuel filter.
The electrical system has been converted from a generator to an alternator. New battery installed, also new coil, plug wires, spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor, points and condenser. New headlight switch installed. NOS wiring harness installed.
New heater control valve installed as well as a new fresh air cable and flap.
Transmission: New pan, pan seal, governor port seal and filter.
NOS ceramic coated Rambler tailpipe installed.
New pump nozzle and hoses installed for the windshield washer cleaning system. New wiper blades installed.
5 new Diamond Back wide whitewall radial tires with NOS Chromwheel beauty rings installed.
Added were NOS Rambler Ventshades, NOS Rambler door edge guards and chrome centerpost overlay.
All fluids have been recently drained and replaced.
New outside rear view mirror and radio antenna installed.
Rear drivers side wheel hub, wheel bearing, seals, axle shaft, differential cover seal and gear oil all replaced a few days ago.
Heater, Defroster, radio, and all lights work.
Currently the car needs a timing chain cover gasket. Included in the sale are the parts needed to complete that job. Front end needs an alignment. The transmission has a small leak. Not sure where the leak is coming from but the transmission itself shifts normally without any issue.The gas gauge stopped working last week. Not sure if the issue is with the sending unit or the gas gauge itself.
Also included in the sale of this car are extra new and NOS parts which include, front seat trim covers , seat belts, interior courtesy light wiring, trunk light wiring and back up light kit, day night mirror, brake drums, etc. As well as the original Rambler shop manuals, owners manual, sales literature, Chilton and Motors shop manuals.
I have additional photos that can be sent by request. Selling this car as is, where is. I ran out of money and time to continue restoring it. Overall its in good shape. It will be a great daily driver with a little more work. The engine runs well. Brakes work well too. Engine does not overheat or smoke. I drove the car around town yesterday with no issues.
Have a clean Florida title in my name. No title issues. Title states 22,000 actual miles.
