Studebaker Lark Wagon 1962
SoCalifornia car since new. Black and yellow plates. This wagon runs and drives nicely. It steers and stops very tight for a Studebaker of this vintage. It was restored 20 years ago and received a Chevrolet 327ci engine and turbo 350 tranny combo. Suspension and steering was completely overhauled with NOS parts during restoration.
Recent work and existing modifications include: Edelbrock performer intake. A Brand NEW Edelbrock 600cfm electric choke carburetor. MSD PRO BILLET distributor. And MSD blaster 2 coil. Runs very strong!
Brakes were recently upgraded, new master and all new shoes and hardware. Stops nicely. FRESH TIRES- just replaced. Recent service included fuel filter, oil and rad flush. Dual Exhaust system in excellent shape and is all newer.
Interior is nice and driver quality. Cool tuxedo color combo. Bucket seats. B&M Floor shifter. Everything inside is Complete With minimal wear. Very Nice headliner and seats! Upgraded with retractable belts. Sony stereo with from and rear speakers and Bluetooth accessory.
Was painted when restored but has been sitting outside so is faded but has a great patina look!
Trunk pan super solid! All glass is good and intact. Body pretty damn straight! No history of accidents I can see. All trim is intact, lenses are not cracked. Chrome is straight.
Cons: some bubbling and minor scale on bottoms of doors pictured. Also has a ding in front left fender pictured. Speedometer cable needs replacement. Needs wiper blades. A few rock chip repairs on windshield.
This is a great driver with fantastic patina. I use it around town at the beach and on the highway. It never runs too hot and has never given me trouble. Sounds amazing and runs nicely. Described to best of my ability. Buyers are welcome to come check it out! Everyone falls in love with this wagon. Solid CA car you can jump in and cruise.
