CONDITION
This 1957 Ford Retractable Hardtop is finished in white with a black and white interior and has approximately 78,000 miles. It is equipped with a 312 engine, automatic transmission, retractable hardtop, rare factory air conditioning, power windows, power steering, power brakes, and a Continental kit. The car was sold new in Fresno, California and spent its life there. It runs and drives down the street, sounds great, and the transmission works great. A small electrical fire occurred after a rag left on the master brake fell onto the exhaust manifold and ignited material around the steering column, which then burned some wiring and gauges under the dash. The stainless trim, steel panels, and mechanical components are fine, but the electrical system, some interior items including the dash pad and a corner of the carpet, and engine detailing still need attention. This is a very desirable retractable hardtop with strong options and a solid foundation for finishing into a very good driver.
